Assad Sheikh completed his education in accountancy in 1979, he served his articles in 1984 with PAH Bromwich & Co, a Leicester (UK) based chartered accountants firm.
In 1987 he founded a property development company registered with the National House Building Company (NHBC), which by 1992 had grown into a substantial operation with an impressive project portfolio of hotels, residences and commercial properties.
In 1992 he relocated to Pakistan. During this time he established a manufacturing facility producing men's shoes for export to the UK.
More recently Assad has been involved at the founder level in establishing a group of nursing homes for the elderly and psychiatric hospitals - including learning disability homes and independent hospitals in the UK. His time in the sector has seen him successfully build several companies from the ground up. In 2005 he established Glancestyle Holdings Ltd., a company operating in the psychiatric care sector. In 2007 a further acquisition in the hospital sector was made whereby the Inmind Healthcare Group of companies was acquired. The Inmind Group now owns and operates 9 units and is expanding its existing facilities by way of development.
Currently Assad and his family are beneficiaries of Grange Holdings Ltd which holds diverse investment projects. The group was founded in 1996 which, following sporadic investments, flourished into a more comprehensive investment portfolio spanning 6 countries. He is responsible for overseeing the financial and operational control of the business.
Zayn Sheikh - Director
Zayn studied International Business with a major in Political Science at Regent's College London. He has experience in the mining industry; from prospecting, to exploration and extraction. Zayn has participated in mining projects in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Armenia and Kenya since 2011.
He has managed various real estate projects, mainly in Central London since 2014 - the focus of these investments were largely in the residential sector. His most recent project is providing social housing across the UK with a forecasted 220 homes occupied by the end of 2019.
Currently Zayn sits as CEO of EFCO Formation, a company offering vocational education and training (VET) and career and technical education (CTE). He has successfully seen the company through a rapid growth strategy since 2016.
In 2019 Zayn was awarded the Forbes 30 under 30 award (Europe Social Entrepreneurs category).
Gordon Tainton - Manager Grange Mining
Gordon has 30 years of natural resource experience at a senior management level with SGS Group, Inspectorate S.A. and Sumitomo Corporation Tokyo.
From 1992 to 1998 he served as Director Business Development & Marketing of Inspectorate S.A. where he participated in a management led acquisition of the company backed by Venture Capital from London.
His main geographical focus was the former Soviet bloc countries with respect to developing and managing technical inspection and testing services at factories and ports for commodity resource exports. He also was responsible for government relations on environmental & mining permits, mine health and safety, social issues and taxation, initiated and led the due diligence teams.
Shuja Hussain - CEO Grange Power
Shuja Hussain completed his education in Pakistan.
In 1986 he founded a 200 MT per day flour mill, successfully running it until his departure to the UK in 1999. Shuja established a chain of supermarkets in the UK from 1999 to 2007. Shuja established Arsh Gas Ltd in 2007, an LPG storage and filling facility in Punjab, Pakistan. More recently he served as the CEO of Havlet Gas Private Limited, an LNG storage facility with a capacity of 100 metric tones.
As of 2008 Shuja has been a shareholder and CEO of Grange Power Limited.
